A prayer you can pray

God, I bring my grown children to You. They're no longer mine to direct, but they are always mine to love—and they have always been Yours.

I pray for their wisdom, their protection and their sense of purpose. Surround them with healthy relationships. Give them peace, and draw them toward faith in You.

Help me love with wisdom. Show me when to speak and when to stay quiet, when to help and when to step back, and how to keep healthy boundaries with a warm heart.

I trust You with what I cannot control. Amen.

These are suggested words, not a formula. God hears you however you pray.

Make this prayer your own

Take a quiet moment. You don't need the right words—just talk to God honestly. These questions can help you begin.
