Hope & Prayer

Scripture to hold onto

Psalm 121:2 · WEB

“My help comes from Yahweh, who made heaven and earth.”

What this can mean for today

When you need help, you can look to the One who made everything.

Read in Context

Ephesians 4:32 · WEB

“And be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you.”

What this can mean for today

Forgiveness flows from being forgiven. It's often a process, not a single moment.

Read in Context

Romans 12:18 · WEB

“If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men.”

What this can mean for today

You can only control your part. Peace is worth pursuing, but it isn't always entirely in your hands.

A prayer you can pray

God, I bring my parents to You. You know our story—the good and the hard.

Care for their health, their hearts and their needs. Where there is hurt, bring healing. Help me honor them in the ways I can, with love and wisdom. Amen.

These are suggested words, not a formula. God hears you however you pray.

Make this prayer your own

Take a quiet moment. You don't need the right words—just talk to God honestly. These questions can help you begin.
