A Prayer for The Right Job

Looking for work can bring uncertainty, disappointment and fear about the future. This prayer is not about asking God simply for any opportunity, but asking for wisdom, provision, direction and the right place to use the gifts He has given you.

A prayer you can pray

God, You know what I need before I even know how to ask for it. You know my responsibilities, my worries, my abilities and the kind of work where I can make a difference.

I'm asking for wisdom as I search. Help me see which doors to knock on and which to leave closed. Give me patience when I hear nothing back, and courage when I do.

Provide for me and the people who depend on me. Lead me toward a place where I can use the gifts You've given me and work with an honest heart.

Whatever happens, help me remember that my worth isn't measured by a job title. I trust You with this season. Amen.

These are suggested words, not a formula. God hears you however you pray.
