Volunteer.

Churches Together welcomes you as a volunteer. By signing, I agree to the following: 1. Purpose. I will serve in a way that reflects the love of Jesus and the mission of Churches Together: bringing local churches and neighbors together, without judgment and without pressure. 2. Conduct. I will treat every guest, volunteer, and church partner with kindness, dignity, and respect. I will not engage in harassment, discrimination, or any unsafe or inappropriate behavior. 3. Safety of children and vulnerable adults. I will follow all safety guidelines, never be alone with a minor who is not my own child, and report any concern about abuse or neglect to Churches Together leadership immediately. 4. Confidentiality. I will keep private any personal information, prayer requests, or contact details I learn while serving, and will not share them outside Churches Together. 5. Screening. I understand that some roles may require an interview and/or a background check, and that Churches Together may decline or end any volunteer placement at its discretion. 6. Volunteer status. I am serving voluntarily, without pay or expectation of compensation, and I am not an employee of Churches Together or any partner church. 7. Assumption of risk and release. I understand that volunteer activities may involve physical activity and some risk of injury. I voluntarily assume those risks and release Churches Together, its partner churches, leaders, and volunteers from claims arising from my participation, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct. 8. Following direction. I will follow reasonable instructions from event leaders and partner church staff, and I will let a leader know if I cannot fulfill a commitment.

I grant Churches Together and its partner churches permission to photograph and record video and audio of me while I participate in Churches Together events and volunteer activities. I agree that these photos and recordings may be used, without payment to me, on the Churches Together website, social media, printed materials, presentations, and other communications that share the mission of Churches Together. I understand that I will not be able to review or approve each use, that my full name will not be published alongside my image without my permission, and that Churches Together will not sell my image to third parties. I may withdraw this permission for future use at any time by contacting Churches Together in writing; materials already published or printed may not be recalled.
